Well, here we go again with another post. I am still hopeful that someone will answer my last question "what happened to Jennifer Burton?" but now I will talk about what happened to Lorissa McComas, another great actress of softporn and B-movies. I search for informations because I wanted to know what she did when she left these films, why she stopped, she was happy? That type of thing. And what I discovered is unfortunately something bad. She died and there are people who believe she was murdered.
Ok, Lorissa McComas, she made a lot of movies. Softporn for sure (Testing The Limits, Madam Savant, Lap Dancing), but most of all were B-movies and horror movies like Piranha, Red Lips and Raptor.
I found more informations about her than Jennifer Burton. For example, she graduated in Princenton High School and she was an major at Miami University before she started stripping and modelling. In 1990 she was arrested with another striper on charges of prostitution. Cincinnati were with zero tolerance for prostitution and things like that, so she was arrested because she was working in a bachelor party and she allowing a customer tuck a dollar bill into a garter around her thigh about two inches above her knee. In 1994 she become the owner of Extasy Entertainment, a company that provides strippers.

According to IMDB, her last movie was The Lusty Babe-a-que (2008) which means that she continued to work even after the early 2000s when many of the softporn actresses had already stopped. She filmed with Griffin Drew, Nikki Fritz, Glori-Anne Gilbert, Samantha Philips, and Julie K Smith. It was a movie for TV.
She died in 2009. Her official website (it's not online anymore) announced. But what happened before that? She moved to Florida to take care of her mother with cancer. Her mother died and after that, her father commited suicide. And than Lorissa was diagnosed with RF Dystrophy. That killed her career and confined her to a weelchair and a life with pain. And it was not just that, she was reported as an unfit mother and the protective services took her son. She suffered a mental break and was forced to be hospitalized in a mental institution where she killed herself. Her brother died because of Aids later.

But that is't not the only version. The other version accusses that it was not suicide and her husband Doug Taylor killed her. There are informations that says she abuses her and it was alcoholic. Well, nothing oficial at least, but many people believe that. I algo found a page called Justice for Lorissa McComas and they have a project to a movie "Life and Death of a Pinup Star" but the crowdfunding was not succed. But they have a lot of videos about Lorissa McComas, her case and her life.

I have to say I would never imagined that Lorissa's life was so hard. It's really sad what happened to her. But I am very happy with I also discovered. She was very loved and very important to many person, otherwise she wouldn't have as such support, people called for justice, remembering her, I hope her son is ok. I am Brazilian, we have a lot of cases of husbands who abuse their wives and kill them. I am very sad that this is a internacional problem and it's possible that Lorissa suffered the same. But I am glad she continue to be loved.
